As a facility welder, you'll work under the Job/Phase Foreman to provide safe and efficient welding services for facility construction and maintenance. Along with your helper, you'll also be required to assist with pile layouts, fabrication, and running a transit. As a member of the Doran Stewart team, whether you're an employee or a sub-contractor, your experience and dedication will help you meet our standard for developing strong relationships with our customers.

As an employee or contractor of Doran Stewart Oilfield Services, you'll be required to maintain good customer/client relationships. We also require that you pass a drug test before your employment.

The successful applicant will have the following:

• 3 – 5 years in direct oilfield facility construction as a B pressure certified welder.
• Experience in fabrication, handling 3” to 10” pipe, the ability to read blueprints, and pass 100% X-ray.
• Portable welder, fully equipped with own equipment (bevellers larger than 6” will be provided).
• Past references with industry related companies.

• Ground Disturbance Level 2 Ticket
• H 2S Safety Ticket
• First Aid
• Confined Spaces
• WHMIS
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods
