Pipeline Welder


Reporting to the Job/Phase Foreman, pipeline welders work on pipeline construction and fabrication welding, ensuring each project meets the Doran Stewart standards for quality and safety. As a pipeline welder, you'll help pull bends, complete hot tie-ins, and work with a pipe gang to ensure consistent quality. As an employee or sub-contractor of Doran Stewart, you're dedicated to ensuring strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years direct experience in oilfield pipeline construction as a B Pressure-Certified welder
  • Experience completing hot tie-ins, handling 3-10" pipe, and reading blueprints
  • Portable welder, fully-equipped with your own equipment (bevellers larger than 6" will be provided)
  • Past references for your industry-related experience

Tickets that must be up-to-date include:

  • Ground Disturbance Level 2
  • H2S Safety
  • First Aid
  • Confined Spaces
  • WHMIS
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods
